On October 7, 16-year-old Or and 12-year-old Gil woke up and ran in panic to the shelter in Kibbutz Nir Oz near the Gaza border. Their mother, Renana was not at home that terrible morning.

They phoned her, in horror, and the last thing Renana heard was Yagil saying "Don't take me, I'm too young!" Hamas took them anyway 💔
